Violins 2025-26
Hello everyone, and welcome to Violins Class!
We are a class of 29 keen, bright learners, supported by Mrs Joyce, Miss Blundell, and Mrs Brown.
Throughout the year, we follow six themes that reflect seasonal changes and introduce children to the world around them. We create an immersive environment where children learn through exploration.
To view Violins Class's long-term learning overview, please visit the Early Years page, where it can be downloaded.
During our first half-term, we will be taking part in Forest School sessions every other Thursday. PE will take place on Fridays, and children should come to school in their full PE kit.
Reading should be recorded in your child’s Reading Record book with a date and a comment from a parent or carer. Please aim to read with your child each evening for 5–10 minutes—children learn to read best when they read little and often.

Please ensure that all communication with staff is respectful and appropriate. We do not tolerate the use of abusive language or tone with our staff.
We use MCAS for all communication, so please ensure you have an active account. Absences can be reported via MCAS, and you can also message the office directly—they will pass any messages on to class teachers.
