SCHOOL meals
As a school, we have reviewed our school meal service provider as we want to ensure the best quality food for our children and offer our Cook the flexibility to cook nutritious food that the children will enjoy.
The Governing Body have been key in selecting a new provider who will be Orian Catering. This will come into effect from the 1st September 2021. They run a number of school kitchens in Lancashire and beyond and we are excited about the food they will offer the children in addition to providing curriculum enrichment activities such as bread making workshops.
The company has been chosen on the basis of the quality and choice of their food, all of which is sourced locally. From September 2023 the cost of the meals are £2.85 per day with Friday Favourites and school sandwiches remaining an option. Tiny Treasures can stay for lunch at a cost of £2.30 per day.
