 1:1 SEND TA 2B - Tarleton Community Primary School

We are looking for a fantastic teaching assistant to work in our Year 3 class to support one of our children with additional needs so they can flourish and reach their full potential.  You need to be someone who goes the extra mile for them so you will need to be experienced, excellent at supporting and tailoring learning to individual needs, and compassionate.  We are a forward thinking, friendly village school at the heart of our community.  Have you got what it takes to become a member of Team TCP?

 

We are looking for someone who is kind, patient and motivated to provide the best provision for our children.  You will work under the direction of the teacher but use your skills and knowledge to ensure inclusive practices are effective.  You will develop relationships with carers and the staff team therefore being a good communicator is essential.

Essential Qualifications:

GCSE C (4) or equivalent in English and Maths

 

Essential Experience:

Experience of working with primary aged children

Experience of working with children who have additional needs

 

The post is from the 23rd February or as soon as possible after, and is a part time and permanent position with variable hours. The post will be 20 hours plus an additional 3 hours (due to SEND funding arrangements) up to 31.08.26, hours to be confirmed but provisionally 9.00am – 2.15pm with a lunch and morning break.
