Teaching Assistant 2A (KS2)

We are looking for a fantastic teaching assistant to work predominantly in our Year 3 class so that are our children can flourish and reach their full potential.  You need to be someone who goes the extra mile for them so you will need to be experienced, excellent at supporting children and groups of children, and compassionate.  We are a forward thinking, friendly village school at the heart of our community.  Have you got what it takes to become a member of Team TCP?

We are looking for someone who is kind, patient and motivated to provide the best provision for our children.  You will work under the direction of the teacher but use your skills and knowledge to ensure inclusive practices are effective.  You will develop relationships with carers and the staff team therefore being a good communicator is essential.

Essential Qualifications:

GCSE C (4) or equivalent in English and Maths

Essential Experience

Experience of working with primary aged children

Implementation of effective behaviour strategies and safeguarding practises

The post is from the Monday 2nd November 2026 or as soon as possible and is a permanent position, 25.5 hours which includes 5 mornings, a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon and 30 minutes each lunchtime.
