At Tarleton Community Primary, one of our Curriculum Drivers is for pupils to be 'Digitally Safe & Savvy.'

The Education for a Connected World framework describes the Digital knowledge and skills that children and young people should have the opportunity to develop at different ages and stages of their lives. It highlights what a child should know in terms of current online technology, its influence on behaviour and development, and what skills they need to be able to navigate it.  The framework is divided into eight strands which are explored in each year group and progressed upon.

2BeSafe

2BeSafe covers each of the strands from the Education for a Connected World framework. 2BeSafe offers a comprehensive coverage of these requirements for primary schools. Sessions are organised by year group and topic, with each topic having 15 minute sessions.

Sessions are designed to promote discussion, greater thinking and deeper reflection in order to raise the profile of the importance of staying safe online.
