A warm welcome to

Tarleton Community Primary School!

We are a larger than average community school that strives to equip our pupils with the skills and values needed to make them successful life long learners.  We believe that we will achieve this by ensuring our children are emotionally literate; always strive to do their best and are supported to do so by highly skilled staff, governors and our community.

We understand that developing our children's creativity will ignite their flair and passion to learn therefore we offer a range of Study Support to compliment our exciting curriculum.  This includes exceptional musical opportunities, for example, singing in our award winning choir or learning to play a range of instruments including the piano, keyboard, guitar, drums and a range of brass instruments.  Sport is an important part of life at the school with a range of clubs for everybody so that our pupils can keep fit and develop team work but most importantly have fun.

We understand that our families are busy working hard in their various jobs and, with many staff who are parents ourselves, consider adaptions to our curriculum to support family time, for example, teaching children in Year 1 to swim and children in Reception to ride a bike.

The children are simply fantastic and the school is filled with laughter and the buzz of learning.  If you are looking for a place for your child, don't just take my word for it, make an appointment with me and come and see all the wonderful things that we do.

Please enjoy our website which has lots of information about the school and of course is a celebration of learning.
