Year 1 Teaching Post – Fulltime/Permanent

We are looking for a fantastic teacher who goes the extra mile for our children to teach our Year 1 class.  This is a rare opportunity for a teacher to join our team as we have a happy, well-established workforce.  You will need to be an excellent practitioner who is able to understand that all our children are individual and like you, have bags of potential!  We are a forward thinking, friendly village school at the heart of our community.  Have you got what it takes to become a member of Team TCP and help our children to realise their potential?

You will:

• Be passionate that every child can excel so they reach their academic potential, are confident and creative when they start high school
• Be an inspirational and excellent teacher
• Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the KS1 Curriculum
• Be experienced and excellent in the delivery of Phonics and supporting pupils to read well
• Support our Study Support (clubs) programme with something you are passionate about
• Work collaboratively within our team
• Be able to use IT effectively to enhance teaching and learning where appropriate
• Go the extra mile in terms of time and effort to ensure every child reaches their potential
