Trumpets 2025-26

Hello everyone and welcome to Trumpets Class! We are a class of 30 keen, bright learners supported by Mr Glaister, Mrs Potter, Mrs Higson, Mrs Cookson, Mrs Smith and Mrs Howley.

For Autumn Term we will be going swimming on Tuesday mornings and have our P.E. lesson on Tuesday afternoons. Please ensure that children come to school in their P.E. kits and have their full swimming kit with them as well as weather appropriate clothing for walking down to the pool.

For the first half of the Spring Term we will have P.E. on Tuesday and Friday afternoons and in the second half Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, this stays the same for the first half of the Summer Term.

In the second half of the Summer Term, we will have Forest School on Tuesday afternoons so children need their appropriate outdoor clothing. 

For homework, children are expected to practice their spellings and times tables three times per week and be heard read the same number of times. This needs to be evidenced in their homework books via a parent/carer date and signature.

We use MCAS for all communication, so please ensure you have an active MCAS account. You can report an absence via MCAS and message directly to the office - they will pass any messages on to class teachers.
